I thought maybe I would wait until I hit the one-year mark before I gave this “pen” a rest, but I guess I didn’t quite make it.
No need to drag this out, but I did want to say thanks to the handful of people who read and interacted with my posts each week. I appreciated your support so much. But the truth is, I’ve never been an influencer, and I will likely never be one. Even though my goal was not necessarily influence…but rather resonance. That also seemed mostly lacking.
Much like a musician doesn’t like playing to an empty room, I suppose it seems silly to me to continue to write pieces that don’t land quite right with the few readers I do have.
Maybe I’ll return at a later time. But for now, thanks for being a good neighbor. See you later.
